  • Supermarkets
  • Video stores
  • Rental stores
  • Magazines
  • Pubs (By pubs I mean meet up with someone and buy it from them)

Purpose: (Why is there a DVD sleeve)

  • Insight into the film
  • Marketing-To Sell-Packaging-Splashes
  • 3D (The film is in 3D)

Content: (What is on the DVD sleeve)

  • Blurb
  • Star Ratings
  • Tag Line
  • 3D
  • Holograms (A small area or the whole thing changes as you move or change its position)
  • Bonuses/Features
  • Age Restriction
  • Barcode
  • Actor/star names
  • Screen Shots
  • USP (Unique Selling Point- could be a popular star)
  • Region
  • Narrative Picture
  • Parental Guidance
The content of a DVD sleeve will have more information than a movie poster. It has three different sides: the front, the back and the spine whilst a poster only has the one side. A DVD sleeve is made to be picked up and looked at whilst a poster is just stuck on a wall or bus stop
